How to Sign in or Create Your Account at Crutchfield
To get started, simply click the Your Account icon found in the upper right-hand corner of every page. You'll be taken to a page called Sign-In. If you've already created a Crutchfield account, follow the directions under "Already have an account?."
If you need to create an account, click the "Create an Account" link under "Need to create an account?" and then fill out the quick form on the next page.

Your Account Summary Page
The Account Summary Page is "command central" for Your Account. Protected by your password, the Account Summary page lets you view and modify all the information associated with Your Account.

Passwords
Your password helps keep the information you enter in Your Account private and secure. Choose a password of at least 6 letters and numbers. It should be a word that's easy for you to remember. (And you shouldn't share it with anyone else.)
If you forget your password, please click here and we will e-mail you a temporary password to the e-mail address registered with your account. After you log in with the temporary password, you will be asked to create a new password.
To change your password, you'll need to enter your current password before you can create a new one.

Billing/Contact information and Shipping information
When you create Your Account, you have the opportunity to enter some basic contact billing and shipping information. This information is used to make ordering on our site easier and to help avoid delays if we need to contact you about your order. Crutchfield will never share any of this information without your permission.

Using "Remember Me"
If you check the "Remember Me" box on "Your Account," the Crutchfield website
will remember you whenever you visit our site from the computer
on which you originally created your account. When you return to our site, the last
vehicle viewed will be ready for you, as will the items in the Cart.
To take advantage of this feature, your computer must have cookies enabled.

Wish List
Your Wish List is the place to save the gear you're thinking about today, but won't be ready to order until later. You can easily use Crutchfield's Wish List to plan your car audio or home theater system- it's a great way to keep track of the items you're considering.
You can also e-mail your Wish List to a friend - who knows, maybe they'll treat you to your dream system. (Plus, if you've bought from
Crutchfield before, and your friend places a first-time order with us for $200
or more, you'll both save $20. See details here.)
To purchase an item on your Wish List , simply click the Add To Cart button next to the item on the Wish List. You'll then see the item appear in your Cart.

Vehicle Information
When you create Your Account, you'll get more advantages from Crutchfield's Vehicle Selector. Each car, truck or van you identify on our site will be remembered by Your Account. (Of, course, you can easily delete any vehicle you're no longer interested in storing.)
How does this help you? Say you're considering purchasing a new vehicle and you're deciding between multiple makes and models. With Your Account, you can see which car audio components fit each vehicle, and compare the possibilities while you shop. This feature can also come in handy if you're planning car audio systems for each vehicle in your family. You'll be able to easily switch back and forth between each vehicle as you shop, without having to go through the step-by-step "What Fits My Car? pages again and again.
To shop with any vehicle you have stored , simply click the "Choose" link next to its name in the Vehicle Info section of the Account Summary Page.
You can also name the vehicles you have stored by clicking the edit link. When you view your Cart and your Wish List, the vehicle you had selected at the time you added each item will appear beneath the item's description.

Privacy and Security
Your password, and your billing, contact and shipping information are completely private and secure. Crutchfield will never share any of your information without your permission. If you choose to use Your Account's "Remember Me" feature, your current vehicle and the contents of your Cart and Wish List will be visible when you return the Crutchfield website. For your protection, however, any other Your Account information will be available to you only after you type in your password.
